How fit is worked out

Your measurement vs the garment’s, per point: a little bigger reads fitting, more reads loose, a lot more baggy; smaller than you reads tight. Length points (inseam, sleeve, length) read short or long instead.

tightfittingloosebaggy
  • Tight — The garment is smaller than you at that point — body-hugging.
  • Fitting — A little bigger than you — the classic, comfortable fit.
  • Loose — Noticeably bigger than you — relaxed, with room to move.
  • Baggy — Much bigger than you — the deliberate oversize look.
